A giant thanks to Julie Slupski who played piano at our Waldorf teacher practicum this weekend. Teachers from Blue Oak and several other Waldorf inspired schools deepened their understanding of Eurythmy, a movement art unique to Waldorf education. This would not have been possible without Julie’s gift of time and talent. Thank you Julie!

Congratulations Blue Oak we have improved tardiness by 50% over last year! Thank you for your support in making this happen! When children are late or absent, their rhythms are disrupted. These consistent rhythms continually help create structure and security for your children, so when students arrive on time and join their class in a productive way, their routine helps them stay connected on a daily basis; improving behavior and reducing discipline issues. You have heard us say many times that “rhythm replaces strength” and we thank you for honoring this rhythm.
Currently our attendance for December & January is approximately 92%. Our goal is 95%, so this is an area we can continue to improve. When students are healthy, please help support their learning by having them in school.
